On the motor yacht M/Y “Vanilla”, the original curved plastic windshield was replaced with a new curved 6+6 mm Triplex laminated safety glass windshield. The project included the careful removal of the existing windshield, the precise fitting and installation of the new curved marine glass panel, and its complete sealing for reliable performance in demanding marine conditions. The use of Triplex laminated safety glass provides increased strength, stability, durability, and improved visibility, while also enhancing the overall appearance of the vessel. The work was completed at Karvounis in Glyfada, Greece, with particular attention given to the accurate adaptation of the curved glass to the existing windshield structure and geometry.
