On the motor yacht M/Y “Vanilla”, we carried out an extensive project involving the removal of 12 side glass panels, followed by the fabrication, installation, and sealing of new safety glass panels. All newly installed panels are Securit Triplex safety glass in a Super Silver tinted finish, accompanied by ISO 614 certification. After the careful removal of the existing glazing and the proper preparation of the mounting surfaces, new side glass panels were manufactured to match the exact dimensions and geometry of the vessel’s existing structure. The installation and sealing of the new glass panels were completed with particular attention to precise fitting, protection against potential water ingress, upgraded aesthetics, and reliable performance in demanding marine conditions. The project was completed at Chalkitis Shipyards in Perama, Greece.
