On the motor yacht M/Y “Asteri”, the detached glass skylights were completely replaced. The project began with the careful removal of the existing skylight panels and the thorough cleaning and preparation of the frames and bonding surfaces, including the removal of old adhesive and sealing materials. New skylights made from Securit–Triplex safety glass were then fabricated to match the requirements and geometry of the vessel’s existing structure. The work was completed with the precise installation and sealing of the new glass skylights, helping provide secure fitting, protection against potential water ingress, and reliable performance in marine conditions. The project was carried out at Flisvos Marina in Athens, Greece.
