On the motor yacht M/Y “Meli”, the team at Evakis Curving Glass carried out the removal of the central curved Triplex safety glass windshield after it had become detached from its mounting areas. The project began with the careful dismantling of the existing windshield and the preparation of the installation surfaces, including the removal of old adhesive and sealing materials. We then undertook the fabrication of a new curved safety glass panel, precisely adapted to the dimensions, curvature, and geometry of the vessel’s existing structure. The work was completed with the accurate installation and sealing of the new windshield, helping restore secure fitting, watertight integrity, and reliable performance in demanding marine conditions. The project was carried out at Kalamaki Marina, Greece.
