On the motor yacht M/Y “Sanlorenzo”, we carried out the removal of a broken side glass panel, followed by the installation and sealing of a new replacement panel. The project began with the careful removal of the damaged glass and the preparation of the mounting surfaces, including the cleaning of the surrounding areas and the removal of old sealants and bonding materials. A new side glass panel was then fitted, adapted to the dimensions and geometry of the vessel’s existing structure in order to ensure proper installation and reliable functionality. The work was completed with the sealing of the new glass panel, helping provide protection against potential water ingress, structural stability, and dependable performance in marine conditions. The project was carried out at Chalkitis Shipyards in Perama, Greece.
